Conceived in 1993 as a showcase for some of
Rogers and Hammerstein's best-known songs from Oklahoma!,
South Pacific, The King & I, Carousel, and
The Sound Of Music, as well as lesser-known pieces from
shows like Allegro and Pipe Dream. Some songs are
done in a style familiar to audiences, while others are given
new and unique arrangements. 20 years of Broadway history are
woven together to show why Rogers & Hammerstein remain among the
brightest lights in music. |
