AUNTIE MAME
by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E Lee
based on a story by Patrick
Dennis
directed by Allison Bibicoff
produced by Bettie Muellenberg, Kathleen Hager & Joe Syiek |
|
|
Young Patrick Dennis, along with his Irish nanny, arrives in New York City to live with his "Auntie Mame,"
who is eccentric, fearless, involving herself in
frauds and fads, bordering on irresponsibility. Despite all
this she remains loved and admirable for the stands she
takes. Feisty Mame is a long way from the ideal mother, but manages
to teach
Patrick what's really important in life. |
