AUDITION NOTICE

My Three Angels

The warm and touching comedy set in a French prison colony in 1910 introduces us to the Ducotel family and their three guardian angels – two murderers and a conman.

 Auditions will be held in the Maddie Room of the Huntington Beach Library, 7111 Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA  92648 on Sunday, March 1st at 1:00pm and Monday, March 2nd at 7:30 PM.  Cold readings from the script.  Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, March 4th.  Performances will be from May 1st  through 24th, 2009.

Felix Ducotel, Male, mid-40s to 50s, trusting, innocent, a loving husband and father, and a terrible businessman

Emilie Ducotel, Female, 40s, Felix’s loving, but more practical, wife

Marie Louise Ducotel, Female, early 20s, Felix’s naïve and lovestruck daughter

Madame Parole, Female, 40s-60s, a less-than-righteous alcohol-loving customer and neighbor

Joseph, Male, 30s – 40s, a convicted conman, embezzler, and thief; also a brilliant salesman

Jules, Male, 40s,  a larger-than-life physical embodiment of a murderer with a soft heart and the soul of a family man

Alfred, Male, 20s, a convicted murderer and romantic, ruggedly attractive

Henri Trochard, Male, 50s - 60s, a hardened businessman and controlling uncle

Paul, Male, 20s – 30s, the self-centered object of Marie Louise’s misguided love

Lieutenant, Male, 20s, extremely good-looking military man, walk-on role
